Xiaomi has announced its latest concept phone which looks like a hybrid of a camera lens and a smartphone. yes, you heard right, a hybrid of the camera lens and a smartphone. The body comes with the same structure as the Xiaomi 12s ultra smartphone but the eye-catching structure is the detachable lens which can be attached to the rear camera island when needed. The camera island is nearly 1 inch or a few mm from the phone's back.

This structure will also protect the large camera sensor from foreign objects like dust and dirt. The design also shows, the 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera that was originally positioned with the middle main camera has been shifted to the side and created space for 50.3 megapixels periscopic telephoto camera. In order to install the interchangeable lens onto the camera island, you need to first remove the lens protector, then you will be able to mount a lens with the help of a lens mounting adaptor. You can mount any Leica M lens according to your need. 

The phone looks beautiful after lens installation. The look of the phone after installing the Leica summilux-M 53mm f/1.4 ASPH lens looks stunning from the side view. The concept phone can also be compared with the Yongno 4G-connected Android camera which was never launched outside of china or the Samsung Galaxy NX which you might have witnessed before.

The company has not clearly mentioned whether they will have mass production or a limited number, all we know is the phone was designed along with 12S ultra and till now 10 units were only reported to have been made.
