PMGC IS A OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT OF PUBG M ORGANIZED BY KRAFTON AND TENCENT GAMES  EVERY END OF THE YEAR AS THE YEAR END'S FOR THE PUBG M COMPETITIVE SEASON.

#PUBG M has organized PMGC 2 times in a row till now and November 2022 will be the third time. The first one is called PMGC season zero,2nd one is called season one, respectively. let's explore the roadmap now for PMGC

2020

 

       Let's jump to 2020 when season zero was organized in Dubai. The tournament started on November 24th,2020, and finished on Jan 26th, 2021. The tournament was organized for 24 teams participating from all around the world. The league stage for the finals was an online event and the finals were scheduled LAN for the top 16 teams but due to the CORONA outbreak, the event was organized online event. Some players had to face casualty and the event was postponed for a few days and started online. The stage was all set for LAN but the epidemic ruined everything. The event had also a beautiful prize pool of $2,000,000 USD and the title of the world champion. The title was titled NOVA ESPORTS (CHINA) & 2nd and 3rd positions were secured by 4AM(china) and ZEUS ESPORTS(Mongolia).

2021

     

           It is season 1 for PMGC, the event started on NOV 30th,2021, and ended on JAN 23rd,2022. The participating teams were increased from 24 to 40, where the league stage was once again an online event and the teams were divided into east and west regions. Where 8 teams from each east and west region were selected for the final. Again the Grand final and semi-final were held in Singapore with a massive prize pool of $6,000,000USD. Once again Nova Esports (china) was titled the champions. Making them hold the champions title for 2 consecutive years back to back.

2022

         The event is announced to be held on Nov 10th,2022, and will end on Jan 8th,2023. Again the number of teams has increased this year with 51 total teams with 48 teams to play league to get final slots and 3 teams invited directly into grand finals. Hope this time proper Lan happens, fingers crossed. And will be held in Indonesia. The event will feature a total prize pool of $4,000,000USD.

The 2022 event is totally different cause 48 teams are divided into 3 groups called red, yellow, and green respectively each group consisting a total of 16 teams & teams were selected on live stream through a lucky picker, and the teams of each group were revealed. 

PMGC SCHEDULE 2022-2023

       The group stage for groups red, yellow, and green will start from Nov 10th -27th,2022. The top 3 teams will each group will get a slot to the final.Teams rank from 4th -11th from each group will get another chance to go final by playing survival stage which will start from Nov 30th -Dec 2nd,2022. From 24 teams playing the survival stage top, 16 will have to play another round to get a final slot. The last round called the Last chance will start from Dec 3rd- Dec 4th,2022, and the top four teams will get a chance to play finals. Finals will start on Jan6th and end on Jan 8th and will have 9 teams from the group stage, 4 teams from the survival & last chance round, and 3 teams directly invited to the event.

6 matches will be played on the group stage on each day from Thursday to Sunday similarly 6 matches for remaining all events including finals.
